Christmas miracle needed for Kentucky Standardbred mare 24 yo Life Matters, born in Versailles & her bonded friend 24 yo Winning Angel K. Time is short. Placement for both mares is secured with an esteemed charitable organization partnering with the wonderful 501(c)3 Abiding Sunday, whose focus is on the care, happiness, and well-being of former broodmares.

What is needed urgently is funding for their safety. Heart and hooves rescue and sanctuary is generously assisting with fundraising to help these girls get to the wonderful accredited 501(c)3 home waiting for them. Transport is lined up and all is in place except the funds.

What troubles me most is the risk of fates worse than slaughter.

Any amount helps. All donations are tax-deductible.

1/2 down of $975 total for both girls is needed by 12/17 to hold them and keep them safe for the remainder of the fundraiser to get them safely home.
